Auroras are spawned by Cambrians to suffuse areas with sunlight when it is otherwise unavailable. They also act as guardians for other lesser titans. A group of Auroras is called a constellation or a cluster.

Physical Description

Auroras are moderately sized lesser titans, standing at a respectable 21' 4" (650cm) with moderate builds. While an Aurora's most striking feature is its red, tiger lily petal-like wings, they also sport a thick coat of chest and neck fur. When using solar magic or emitting sunlight, it emits from the Aurora's wings, colouring them a striking gold hue. While their wings are more plantlike than animalian, they do not respond to verdant magic unlike Fronds and Coddlers.

Behaviour

Auroras act as aerial guardians for other lesser titans; particularly Cornucopiae, which are exceptionally large targets and are generally too slow to get out of the way of determined adversaries. Auroras can blast foes with large flares of solar magic, though their attacks seem to be unable to damage the land (differentiating them from something like a Perditioner).

Additionally, Auroras can emit their solar magic as a powerful glow that can replicate daylight in a significant area around themselves. They do this most commonly when relieving disasters, though the magical sunlight also amplifies the disease nullifying properties of a Cambrian's aura, as well as feeding the energy levels of half-verdant puppets like Cornucopiae, Coddlers, Fronds, and even Cambrians themselves. While Auroras are the least common of the lesser titans, it is common for a Cambrian's first sculpted lesser titan to be an Aurora, suggesting a deeper connection between the two.

Genetic Description

Auroras bear a striking epigenetic resemblance to Hot Tricksters, in particular sharing many of the traits that correspond to increased body temperature and a preference for fire magic. While not explicitly genetic in nature, Aurora magic also shares some similarity with the fire magic that Envoys use.

Metanarrative

Auroras are the artificial suns that light the world after disaster strikes. They amplify the strengths of other lesser titans (save for Seraphs), and also foster natural plant growth under their faux-sunlight. They're, in essence, the Deltas of the lesser titans, providing support to their allies.
