Billiali are smaller Ouroborae that carry a multitude of small, divided islands on their backs. They are very particular about their landmasses, carefully shaping the weather and climate of each to foster a variety of different environments. A group of Billiali is known as a table.

Billiali are fairly small Ouroborae, standing at 1307 miles (2103.4km) tall. Their profiles are further compromised by the landmasses they carry, which consist of smaller islands coming from multiple separate "pockets". These smaller islands typically wildly vary in topography and climate: A fact that the Billiali that carry them are typically very meticulous about. Their pocketed structure means that Billial Ouroborae are one of the few Ouroborae to tolerate an abundance of saltwater resting on their backs, and they often lay very low to their host planet to facilitate this. The fact their landmasses are so disjointed also makes them very limber and nimble, and it is not unusual for a Billial to settle into a curved posture.

Billiali are not quite as hyperactive as their Plurite cousins, with them displaying much more inward freneticism: Much of a Billial's time is spent meticulously sculpting the land and climate on its back, with a particular taste for having a wide variety of different biomes. It is rare that even two of a Billial's islands have the same spread of biomes, much less more than that. This tending behaviour manifests most when in a group: Billiali are quite fond of gathering in groups to share their cultivated biospheres, with rarer or more exotic biomes seemingly being a status symbol. They are, of course, ultimately beholden to the whims of the clan, but they are surprisingly adept at managing to please both their own eccentricities as well as the hive's needs all at once.

Billiali display a particular disinterest in joining world shells above a planet's surface, largely owed to their contentment with being submerged in water. Regalids are often employed to manipulate bodies of water into forming around nearby Billiali, and for that reason, it is common for Billiali in an orbital shell to cluster around a patron Regalid.

Billiali have fairly complex epigenetic trigger systems, sporting several major tissue types that no other Ouroboran or even Puppet has. These are believed to be the organs responsible for their weather manipulation abilities, which the Billiali have immaculate control over even when asleep.

It feels strange to call such a large creature "sassy", but if any of my children could fit that description, Billiali would be those who do. They of course obey when prompted, but I do catch them occasionally "meandering" in their duties, trying to change a biome on an urban parcel of land or such. I have little qualms with appeasing them, but it would be nice if they could try not to be such sneaks about it.

Billiali are probably the "weirdest" of the Ouroborae. They are one of the few types of Ouroboran with any sort of strong or complicated personalities, which I think befits their rather unusual body structure. Billiali get much of their physique from islandic regions like Hawaii, Japan, or the Phillipines, representing tightly-knit archipelagoes of smaller landmasses.
